This is your safecalm and confidential space, designed to support students' mental health needs in a caring environment and provide tools to achieve wellness and reach your full potential. 

 

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.  We care, support and provide:

HOW TO SEE A THERAPIST AT THS: 

 

Use the form to the right to submit a request for a check-in or therapy session, as well as to refer a friend or peer.

You can also come by the counseling offices on the first floor of the Administrative building, and one of our therapists will help you as soon as they are able.

 

If a therapist is not available and it is NOT a crisis, leave your name with the office administrators and a therapist will call you out of class at their next opportunity.

Reasons you may want to reach out to talk to someone:

  • Anxious, worried, or feeling more stressed than usual

  • Angry, irritable, snapping at friends and family

  • Sad, lonely, isolated, hopeless, feeling worthless, depressed

  • Self-harming or suicidal thoughts

  • Having issues controlling your emotions

  • Conflict in your relationships

  • Need extra support right now

Appointment Request Form

This form is for Torrance High School students, parents, and staff to request or recommend mental health services. The THS mental health therapist provides weekly, short term, crisis, and group therapy services as well as parent/staff consultations.

Virtual counseling is available Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm.

We will respond to your request as quickly as possible. Please note that we will only check this form during school hours. For additional resources, visit thscounseling.com
