The Torrance High School College and Career Center looks forward to hosting College representatives and Career / Military Speakers!
Visits are scheduled at TUTORIAL, LUNCH or AFTER SCHOOL and
ALL GRADE LEVELS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND!
MILITARY is ON-CAMPUS at LUNCH
All COLLEGE visits/presentations will be scheduled through Naviance

Time to get ready for College Apps!
In case you missed it...
We had a Summer Essay Workshop Series!
These sessions took place on campus each Friday in July.
These sessions should be used to help you get started. If you need help refining your essays or PIQ's, please make an appointment to see Mrs. Mendoza, your Alpha-Counselor, or refer to your English Teacher for their available hours.
You can also use the resources in the folder below to help you get started.
UC Applications open on August 1st
You can work on the app now - but you can only submit between October 1st - November 30th
CSU/Cal State Applications open on October 1st
Once Apps Open - You can submit your application upon completion.
Private Colleges/Universities (that use Common App)
open on August 1st.
Deadlines to submit vary by campus - Check college campus website
Most PRIVATE colleges accept Common App. Check HERE for more info.
IMPORTANT - If using Common App to apply to your intended college, you MUST connect your NAVIANCE Account.
