Incoming freshmen coming from outside of our feeder middle schools or TUSD - Permit applications can be submitted to or Counselors are currently assisting our open enrollment and approved permit students with scheduling. 

Current students who wish to make changes to their initial course requests should have their parent/guardian email their alpha counselor with the request for a change, any necessary forms, and their approval.

Taking a summer course? Please note that if you are taking a year-long class that is a prerequisite for a course you are taking in the Fall, both semesters of the course must be completed before the school year begins. All summer courses must be pre-approved by your counselor. Please email your Summmer Course Pre-approval Form to your counselor. Dear Students and Parents:


In light of our current global health crisis with COVID-19, the Los Angeles County of Education ordered the closure of our schools to combat the virus. Despite our school's closure, please know that the counseling team is still available to support our students and families during this time. 


Counselors will be working remotely from home and are available during school hours to support our students' academic or social/emotional needs. Our team is currently working together to determine how we can provide continuity of our services to our students and families at Torrance High School.
