College Visits & Career Presentations

for the 2025-2026 Schoolyear

We are happy to announce that MOST visits will be In-Person!

Torrance High School College & Career Center looks forward to hosting College reps & Career / Military Speakers!

Visits are scheduled at

TUTORIAL - LUNCH - AFTER SCHOOL

ALL GRADE LEVELS ARE WELCOME!

MILITARY is ON-CAMPUS at LUNCH in front of the LIBRARY

All COLLEGE visits/presentations will be scheduled through Naviance

STUDENTS:

Once you have registered for a presentation/ workshop on Naviance:

Virtual Visits will have a Meeting Link Provided after registration.
All "In-person" visits will be in the College & Career Cntr, Room A106.

take place during instructional time.

Make an appointment with your counselor!
- Counselors submit documents and sometimes letters of recommendation on your behalf. - They'll need info form YOU!

Apply for Summer 2026. This will get you ready for SUMMER or FALL 2026

We encourage ALL THS Students to complete an app in the Fall of Senior Year.
The sooner you complete the app, the easier enrollment will be after graduation

What you should be doing NOW...

Start/Finish your College Apps... Some are still open!
- UC's: All are CLOSED
- Cal States - MOST are still open (Check HERE)
- Most Private Colleges are open
- El Camino College (Summer 2025 is open, Fall opening soon!)
Monitor your EMAILS and/or PORTALS
- Both should be checked at least once a week!
- These are the only ways the college will communicate with you after you have submitted your application.
Apply for Financial Aid! Due March 3rd
- FAFSA & Dream Act Opened on DECEMBER 1st
  - You may also be required to complete a CSS Profile.
